What are the accomplishments of the program “Transformational Educational Leadership in 2st Century Contexts: Policy and Practice” or Transformlead@21?
The inaugural participants of Transformlead@21 identified that most pressing issues that they faced in their respective contexts. After doing this important step they then undertook design-based action projects to address these issues. These projects are current works-in progress in each of the participants’ contexts, these are their Transformational Action Plans or TAPs.
On the 31st of August 2018, the TransformLEAD@21 held its showcase event etitled “Education Roundtable: Leadership, Culture and Technology” at the State University of Jakarta (Indonesia). The event was an important venue for the inaugural participants to share their TAPs.
The TAPs fall into three categories:
Transforming Schools by Leadership Mentoring;
Changing Culture through Pedagogical Leadership; and
Messages from State University of Jakarta officials
